Fibertrench

At Fibergrate we constantly endeavour to remain at the forefront of GRP product innovation.

Our latest product has been developed following consultation with The National Grid, with a view to improving efficiency and working methods when installing cable trench systems. To this end we have completed trials of our new GRP Fibertrench system.

A length of Fibertrench measuring 2400mm long weighs only 40kgs, which emulates a 600mm wide trench system currently manufactured from pre-cast concrete sections.

This eliminates the need for heavy lifting equipment and associated H & S issues, reduces the number of site staff required to set up current trenching systems and also cuts installation time.
